Simcoe Mobility & York Foot Orthotics & Bracing is focused on knee, ankle and foot pain management catering to a full range of foot conditions and treatment options. Dean Woodcock is a certified Canadian Pedorthist and a member in good standing with the College of Pedorthics of Canada.
Dean’s career began at George Brown College where he completed a diploma in Prosthetics and Orthotics. After graduating in 1993, he started work in Toronto, skillfully fabricating orthopedic appliances such as foot orthotics, AFOs, knee braces, wrist braces, and ankle braces. Later, he received his diploma from the College of Pedorthics of Canada and became a Certified Canadian Pedorthist – C. Ped.
After working in Toronto for several years, he opened his own clinic in Newmarket under the name BioPed (later moving the clinic to Aurora). In 2013, Dean sold his clinic and opened Simcoe Mobility in Collingwood, Ontario under the umbrella of the Orthopedic Sports Institute. Today, Simcoe Mobility is a full-service foot clinic with an on-site lab which caters to a full range of foot conditions and treatment options.
Dean aspires to live a healthy lifestyle year round, and thus he appreciates the desire for others to do the same. Healthy feet, free of pain and discomfort, break down the barrier and open the door to enjoy walking, skiing, snowshoeing, cycling, hiking, and many other activities embraced by people living in central Ontario.
