  • What are Foot Orthotics? Foot orthotics are custom shoe inserts designed to support your feet. They can be used to relieve pressure on a certain area of the foot, to improve your foot alignment, to correct an abnormal gait, to improve the mechanics of the foot and leg, or even to address a combination of these things.
  • How are Foot Orthotics Made? Custom foot orthotics are made by first taking an impression of your foot, either with a plaster cast or a modern 3D laser scan. That impression is then used to design and create the ideal insert to give your unique feet the support they need.
  • What Issues can Foot Orthotics Help With? Foot orthotics can be used to alleviate foot pain caused by a number of different conditions, which include:
    • Plantar fasciitis
    • Rheumatoid arthritis
    • Juvenile idiopathic arthritis
    • Pes cavus (high arches)
    • Hallux valgus (bunions)
