About the Creator

With decades of experience both on and off the bike, Dean Woodcock brings a unique level of expertise to our custom orthotics offerings, specializing in options specifically for motocross riders. His background blends mechanical knowledge, competitive racing, and clinical training, giving him a well-rounded understanding of rider performance and biomechanics.

Here’s a little more about what makes Dean so uniquely situated to provide custom orthotics for motocross riders:

  • Started as a licensed motorcycle mechanic
  • Raced motocross in Ontario from 1978–1998
  • Currently competes in the Ontario off-road hare scramble series
  • Completed post-graduate studies in Orthotics & Prosthetics in 1992
  • Certified Canadian Pedorthist (2004)
  • Practices at the Orthopaedic Sports Institute in Collingwood
  • Performs full clinical assessments with hand-casting for every orthotic
  • Designs and handcrafts all orthotics at his on-site lab
  • Uses a private test track to fine-tune fit and performance
  • Deep understanding of rider positioning from decades of riding experience
